Lavazza coffee was started by Luigi Lavazza, who opened the first store in Turin, Italy in 1895. Luigi was very innovative and had a passion for his work, and soon began to study the art of blending coffee. He took a trip to Brazil and saw great potential for creating new versions of coffee.
